SHORT BIOGRAPHY:

When you close your eyes and listen to Adam’s music, you will have a hard time believing it is just one man on stage with an acoustic guitar, two hands and an endless passion for his art. Adam is an award winning solo acoustic fingerstyle guitarist who simultaneously creates a variety of tones and textures from a mere six-string acoustic guitar. Adam evokes emotion and translate ideas through music using his keen sense of melody and rhythm.

NEWROADS PERFORMING ART CENTRE [2024]Adam Crossman is a classically trained guitarist and teacher who specializes in avant-garde fingerstyle acoustic guitar performance. He is uniquely proficient in advanced prepared guitar techniques including the use of bows, bridges, high-strung guitar, super trebles, artificial harmonics, and harp guitar with 21 strings. Adam is internationally recognized for his virtuosic guitar skills and affiliated with Ernie Ball, Mayson Guitars, Brunner Guitars, Stonebridge, Pickaso, Fretmonkey Records, and National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM). 

Adam's music transforms the guitar to create a dynamic and memorable experience for audiences. Previous features include Summerfolk Festival, Eaglewood Music Festival, Oakville Jazz Festival, Canadian Guitar Festival, and Golden Coast Tour (USA). Presented by Mayson guitars, Adam has toured theatres in Beijing, Hefei, Ningbo, Changsha, Suzhou, and Guangzhou. He has released an experimental EP entitled States of Mind on all streaming platforms.

Adam is passionate about Canadian art and nature, producing music videos in Pukaskwa National Park, Peggy's Cove, Kawartha Lakes, Madoc, northern Algoma, and Powassan. He is also a multi-instrumental music teacher for Long & McQuade, Piano Studio, and Modern Music Studio.
